WinCor is a privately owned diversified real estate development and construction firm with expertise in commercial development, condominium development, rehabilitation & renovation of investment property and building of single family homes throughout Atlanta and the Southeastern United States.

The project management team for Wincor boasts over 20 years of experience building communities as large as 200 + homes for nationally known & reputable builders such as Pulte Homes Inc. and John Wieland Homes & Development Inc.

WinCor makes it a point to explore the distinctive attributes of the land and the historical legacy in each community in which they develop which helps shape the character of their projects. This also ensures that the final development integrates into the existing community. The President/Founder
Richard C. Winfrey

Richard Winfrey has over 13 years experience in real estate development. His responsibilities have included management of construction and development projects with budgets in excess of $25 million.

Before starting his own firm, WinCor, Richard climbed the ranks of development firms PRS Companies and Julian LeCraw and Company. AT both companies, he was well respected for his work ethic, intelligence and passion for real estate.

Upon graduation from college, Richard joined Atlanta-based Julian LeCraw & Company, Inc. where he held several management positions. During his successful tenure at the company, Winfrey was named community manager after reaching high goals, increasing rent levels and creating successful marketing plans and sales strategies. He was also responsible for leasing and the efficient management of several multi-family communities through out the metro Atlanta area.

Richard joined PRS Companies in 1996. Upon leaving he'd achieved the level of Executive VP of Operations. In this role, his responsibilities included budgeting, employee relations, job supervision and progress reporting.

Winfrey is a 1994 graduate of Morehouse College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. He also holds an Apartment Property Supervisor Certification.

Volunteer experience includes coaching, at various levels, Baseball and Basketball, community service through programs sponsored by PRS Construction and programs sponsored by OMEGA PSI PHI Fraternity, Inc. Richard and his wife reside in the Cascade are of South Fulton County, where he grew up. They have three children.

The Architect

Paul Muldawer of Muldawer Associates, Architects & Town Planners, LLC

Paul Muldawer has practiced architecture of distinction since 1962. Among his many notable accomplishments have been: appointment by President Jimmy Carter to the United States Architectural and Transportation Barriers Board; founding of the Atlanta Urban Design Commission; serving as Advisor Emeritus for the National Trust for Historic Preservation; and Election to the College of Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.

Muldawer has an extensive background in Historic Preservation and Urban Design throughout the Southeastern & Northeastern United States. He designed the new City Hall and Annex in Atlanta, GA and was architect for the city Hall & Civic Auditorium in Warner Robbins, GA and the Marta Rapid Transit Station, Arts Center in Atlanta. Since 1993 Muldawer?s practice has specialized in traditional town planning and mixed-use developments using principles of the new urbanism. His professional endeavors have focused on development of greenfield areas and the revitalization of infill urban areas that have experienced decline.
